Prismatic aluminium-case second-life PACK line
Testing and grouping of finished cells, fixture assembly, connection welding and pack testing.
Cell testing and grouping
The line assembles prismatic aluminium-case cells, with fixtures matched to product dimensions, capacity grades and connection structure. Incoming cells are already manufactured and enter assembly after testing, screening and grouping.
For second-life cells, batch test results establish capacity, internal resistance, consistency and suitability for the intended use before sorting grades and grouping criteria are set. The line connects grouping, joining and testing of accepted cells for the required second-life PACK assembly.
Fixture assembly and connections
Fixtures position the cell group, followed by configured connector welding, BMS installation, wiring and associated component assembly. Welding, clamping and contact locations are matched to cell format and connector material.
Automatic and operator stations can be combined for the planned cycle time. Clamping and transport are selected for prismatic-cell dimensions, arrangement and connections.
Labelling, testing and production changes
Pack assembly is followed by labelling, product testing and data recording. Tests are configured for the target product, with checks covering incoming cells, connections and finished-pack condition.
Product changes require checking trays, fixtures, series/parallel arrangements, welding programs and tests. Station count, automation and site logistics are project-specific; different formats may require adjustments.
