At its 17 October 2025 press conference, SAMR reported that China's 2024 traction-battery collection exceeded 300,000 tonnes and the market exceeded CNY 48 billion. By the conference, 22 national battery-recycling standards had been published.
Coverage includes general requirements, management, dismantling, residual-energy testing, material recycling and recycled black mass. Further work addresses green design, discharge, storage and dismantling/crushing safety. Enterprise examples have their own process conditions and do not establish universal industry or Jiuda equipment performance.
