Side-plate cutting machine
Positions modules against adjustable stops and cuts their side plates with a height-adjustable saw and manual traverse mechanism, supported by dust extraction.
Applications & configuration
- A module table and stops establish the side-plate cutting position.
- A handwheel adjusts blade height; the traverse handle controls cutting feed and return.
- Dust extraction operates alongside cutting.
Positioning and adjustment
The battery module is placed on the table. The module stops are adjusted and secured so the side plate aligns with the saw. Blade height is set using the adjustment handwheel before cutting.
Cutting cycle
The start button activates the saw and dust extraction. The operator controls blade traverse with the handle, completes the side-plate cut, and returns the mechanism before processing the next module. An emergency-stop button is provided for abnormal conditions.
